I am a Senior and will be graduating in August with a Family Studies Major and a Studio Art Minor at Brigham Young University. I am also planning to attend graduate school to become a Child/Adolescent Therapist. I have received A's in all of the classes in which I offer tutoring.
Experience
Over the past 6 years, I have been hired numerous times as both an academic and music tutor across a wide range of subjects including: math (all levels through Pre-Calculus), English (all levels), writing, reading, science (all levels through middle school), history, and as a general homework/study helper. The students I have tutored range anywhere between 4-18 years of age. In addition to academics, I have also been a piano and flute tutor for multiple students within the same age range. I want to be a tutor because I love taking someone who feel may feel hopeless, incompetent, or lacks confidence in their academic and cognitive abilities, and helping them realize their full potential and gain hope and confidence in themselves as a learner. I have always had a sincere interest and desire to help other people succeed and feel good about themselves.
